dc.description.abstractI was selected for the Sales and Marketing Profile at Academy of Carver Aviation PVT Ltd. My mentor was Mr Dhruva Bhatia, Head of Marketing who gave us a brief about the Academy and our work on the very first day. In the starting week all interns were divided in teams of 2 and 3 asked to participate in a friendly competition of promoting the digital media profiles by getting likes plus reviews for the Academy. My team was successful in gaining the highest amount of reviews/likes and we were awarded with “Best performing Team of the week” and I was the best performer amongst the interns. Through outbound marketing, at the end of my internship I reached out to 600 class 12th students to generate leads (promising prospects) for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course admissions. This task definitely polished my communication and interpersonal skills. Another important marketing area I touched was market research for which I did competitive analysis and learned about latest trends and digital strategies used by the competitors thus helping me to use the data in suggesting company’s future promotional strategy. I also worked on Digital Marketing. I had to make different themed posts with catchy captions and relevant hashtags. I created posts related to humor, trivia, meme and a Mother’s Day Post. I successfully ran a Google Search Ad Campaign which ran for roughly 1 month and got us 22k impressions and 579 clicks with a click through rate of more than 2%. For this I did my Keyword Research for low CPC and high keywords. I also worked on content marketing by writing a blog, reviews for backlinks and animated videos for the company. I was also responsible for website promotion and handling the email marketing campaigns created by all the interns using Mailchimp tool. The newsletter that I created with the subject line “Boeing’s masterplan for India in 2020” received the most number of opens out of the total 12 email campaigns created by all the interns in this 2 months. I acquired knowledge about the different segments of marketing during the course of my internship. I grew from a student into employee learning to effectively put the theoretical concepts of marketing into actual practice.en_US
