Sales and Marketing Intern

Abstract

The report covers my internship experience with Ananda Vak Solutions Ltd, Bengaluru. I worked with the company as ‘Sales and Marketing Intern’ for two months starting from 28 April to 27 June. During my internship period, I have worked with both, marketing and sales team for one month each and have applied my theoretical learning from the institute to the real-world applications in order to benefit the company as well as my career growth. In first half, working under the sales team, I was able to generate 5 leads for the company and have worked closely with the sales head for final negotiation talks. In the second month of my internship, I digital marketed an e-book, “Doctor, Are You Online?”, written by the company’s Executive Director, which went on to become #1 Best-Seller in Healthcare category on Amazon. Through my internship, I have not only gained hands-on experience in the business of digital marketing but, talking to the corporate leaders, I have developed various soft-skills and technical skills which will help me grow further in my career. I have drastically improved upon my communication and team work skills and on technical side, I have learnt concepts of digital marketing and negotiation techniques through my sales experience. Owing to the experience in both, sales and marketing field, I am glad that I have found my passion in sales and I look forward to working in sales after my MBA.
