| Abstract: | The report is a research on best practices involved in setting up an in-house logistics network for an organization. Based on primary and secondary research we were able to identify industry standards that can help in designing a state-of-the-art logistics network. The research also includes a study on the leaders in the industry and the technologies that have been adopted as well as technologies being developed that can be implemented in the near future for a high-performance logistics network. The learnings and conclusion part shows the output of the project and the knowledge gained from it. It also shows the insights that we have gained about the logistics industry as a whole. |
