Abstract

This summer internship report reflects the collective work and work experience gained throughout 10 weeks that has started at Wishtree Technologies, Ahmedabad in early May. I was a Sales and Business Development Intern at Wishtree. This internship gave me immense exposure to the corporate world. Wishtree Technologies is an IT solutions, software development, and consulting company. The company focuses on empowering businesses and ventures in the US, UK & India. It was founded in 2010 by two technology enthusiasts and ex-infoscions: Dilip Bagrecha and Ravi Iyer. Wishtree delivers technology-enabled business solutions and digital transformation services that help global companies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. It follows an agile, collaborative approach to creating customized solutions across the digital value chain. Wishtree is proud to work with global clients like World Bank, United Nations (7 UN organizations including UNDP, WHO, UNESCO, UNHCR, IOM, UNCDF, and UNFPA), 3ie, Vodafone, UNB, Vedanta, Rutgers, Xactly and Amdocs. During the 10 weeks duration of the internship, I carried out Business Development work to facilitate the sales team with better methods and tools to collaborate with the clients. Also, I got the experience of exploring new domains to be integrated into the business. Data scrapping related to various requirements given me experience about the steps involved in Pre-Sales.
