Project Management Tools

Abstract

Project Management tool is a one type of software which is used to arrange work and, store and track the data. In this project, one of the project management tool is developed which is used to store the details of contingent worker, known as contingent worker (CW) tool. The data of contingent worker is fetched from an API (Application Programming Interface) and is refreshed daily by running a cron job daily. This tool is made using various web technologies like for frontend HTML, CSS and Javascript. For backend, PHP is used and for database, MySQL is used. These types of tools are made completely adaptable therefore they are able to fit the necessities of groups of various sizes and objectives.

Apart from developing CW tool, some new features in the existing head count (HC) tool. Head count tool manages the data of all employees in HPG group. It shows the participation of each individual employee in a specific project. The new enhancements are thoroughly discussed in this report. These types of tools will be made completely customizable therefore they are able to fit the need of teams of different sizes having different goals.
