The purpose of this project is to avoid a situation in servers that is named SMM(System management mode) in which the processing is hauled in-order to serve an SMI(System Management Interrupt) request. SMIs are mostly raised by run-time services which include services like Variable services, time services and many more. We will be discussing all of them in later portion of this report. This project has sheer focus of avoiding the variable services to generate an SMI which would eventually generate an SMM. Syncing NV-Region between the BIOS(Basic Input Output System) and BMC(Baseboard Management Component) provided as a scope of exploration and development for this project. We will be discussing the roles played by BIOS and BMC regarding ’How will they overcome this SMM situation?’, ’How will those variable services be handled?’, and ’What will be the benefits of using it?’, and many more questions in this report.en_US
