Firmware image is a combination of different firmware region images which performs different functionality during hardware initialization and give OS the ability to communicate to different devices through runtime services provided by the firmware. Firmware image is defined as a software embedded on hardware. Firmware validation is a process of validating different test case scenarios based on different firmware image combinations and versions. Harmonized Capsule is one of the validation feature that validates the firmware updation is processed successfully under different situations defined in the test cases via capsules. Capsule Generation process is a manual process during which various scenarios are needed to be addressed like authentication of firmware provided, identifying the required tools to be used based on the firmware provided. And the whole process consumes much time from the capsule request send till the capsules are delivered back to the users. To address the above issues, proposed the Automation Framework for UEFI Harmonized Capsule Generation. This will all ensures successful generation of the capsule based on Firmware Image provided with minimum human intervention.en_US
