Abstract: Intel designs the system on chip (SoC) i.e. processor IC and provides firmware and integration of Intel ChromeBooks. Such a system goes through various stages starting from the design of a chip to deployment. All new silicons comprise varying architecture and it is important to benchmark the power and performance of the systems in the development process to ensure that architectural changes are efficient and performant. Higher performance is desired with optimal power consumption. Various applications utilize system resources differently. Hence, to mark the performance of a system, different benchmarks are required. For Intel Chromebooks, these benchmarks comprise power, performance, ARC++, thermal and responsiveness key performance indicators. This project focuses on key performance indicators, creating a tool to estimate the targets for a platform. The work further expands to remote system parameter monitoring tools and a survey on AI/ML benchmarks.
