dc.description.abstract | Currently, the rollout of fifth generation (5G) spectrum bands to telecom providers has leveraged smart and responsive ecosystems to meet the current bandwidth surge among customers. In future, it is expected that massive and dense sensor connectivity is required to support plethora of smart applications in internet-of-things (IoT) based ecosystems. To support the change, sixth generation (6G)-based spectrum bands allocation to telecom providers would guarantee ultra peak rates, high availability, and extremely low-latency in user applications. However, the spectrum allocation process suffers from limitations of fair allocation process, delays in auction process, and collusive bidding due to inherent centralization. Thus, the project proposes a scheme, that integrates blockchain (BC) in 6G-envisioned spectrum allocation using auction mechanism to ensure secure and trusted band allocation among telecom providers, and ensure transparency among telecom stakeholders. For the same issues another scheme is presented that integrates deep Q networks (DQN) and BC to lease underutilized spectrum among multiple contributor base stations (CBS), treated as service providers. The Proposed scheme mitigates the search state explosion through intelligent spectrum sharing. | en_US |
