Identity and Access Management Intelligence

Abstract

The use of the internet increases day by day as the people who are using the internet for communication and accessing the information in the organization or outside the organization also increases. Managing Access control and digital identity is the biggest challenge in today’s era. Modern approaches are required to manage the identities of users. Identity and access management systems provide a solution for managing user’s data through authentication, authorization, and user credentials. Identity management provides easier management of user credentials and the information related to the identity of users and access management provides strong authentication and authorization using the Single-Sign-On (SSO) and also a policy based approach to verify who can access the data and also at what level he can access. In this project I have learnt different methods used for Authentication and authorization such as OpenId, OAuth, SSO and MFA and I have also applied SSO on different application and used Splunk to analyze logs for server based application and also created azure workbook for the analysis of logs for cloud based application.
