dc.description.abstract | GCMMF (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd, Anand) is India's largest food marketing organisation. It is the Gujarat Dairy Cooperatives' apex body. Dairy cooperatives in Gujarat have built an economic network that connects more than 3.1 million village milk producers with millions of Indian consumers during the previous five and a half decades. The average amount collected by these cooperatives is 9.4 million litres of milk each day from their producer members, more than 70% of whom are tiny, marginal farmers and landless labourers, including a significant number of tribal people and reserved castes. This paper examines the "Amul Vidya Awards," a novel approach to customer service. The project deals with the present supply chain of the flavoured milk product range and a problem solving initiative of removing the plastic involved in packing of milk. The report is broken down into three sections. The first section provides background information on the company. The second section delves into the specifics of project work. The final section comprises lessons learned during a summer internship. | en_US |
