Abstract: | This report is written for the purpose of understanding and analysing the recruitment trend of various companies that exist during the ongoing pandemic as well as for understanding the current market scenario of job portal industry and the effects of pandemic on the industry. The industry has seen significant growth as the availability of internet amongst the population has increased. The growth has further been increased by the ongoing pandemic which has drastically changed the hiring processes/ requirements, the work culture and the overall hiring process which has all gone virtual. The job employment platform industry was majorly used by firms with good resources and by those that had requirements across various locations but ever since the pandemic hit the country the industry has seen significant rise in the sign up’s and usage from various small and medium scale industries which earlier relied on other methods or referrals, since the whole process takes place online various companies have adopted job platform’s for hiring as per requirement. The growth has been significantly from sectors that are linked to technology such as Business Process Outsourcing, Media & Entertainment, Coding Centric Firms etc. and it has also been extremely beneficial for them as it has helped such companies in gaining access to a bigger talent base along with convenience. The industry being extremely competitive therefore quality of service plays a very important role in the industry and it is taken care of by skilled customer care that provide immediate resolution, continuous feedback so that necessary changes could be brought into the platform’s. |
