Abstract: This internship report stresses on the work experience I have gathered as an Intern in the Sales and Marketing department of Amul. In this report, I have mainly incorporated my experience at Amul and have provided a comprehensive description of the work done at Amul. Amul, India’s leading (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) FMCG brand, is an Indian dairy cooperative association with headquarters in Anand, Gujarat. It is a cooperative brand administered by the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF). My brief stint with Amul has helped me gain insights about working in the corporate world while facing real-life scenarios. During my time with Amul, I worked on analysing the market trend of Amul products and formulated marketing strategies to enhance the sales growth. The internship has helped me gain first-hand experience of the FMCG industry by working in a company that is itself leading in the sector. The report contains an elaborative description about the industry, the company and the project undertaken along with a comprehensive description about the methodology used to gather the required information for the project. The project’s objective has also been discussed in detail in this report. The report also contains the learning from the internship, which is a crucial and the most important part of any internship.
