Research on Data Governance Tools

Abstract

The report is a research on best data governance tool involved in setting up the data governance in any organization as per its requirements. Based on primary and secondary research we were able to identify industry standards, needs, demands, offerings of the tools etc. that can help in designing a whole system of data governance in an organization. The research also includes a study on the leaders in the industry and their offering technologies. We have also understood about the different aspects of data management in any organization like metadata management, data quality, data framework, data privacy & security, data stewardship, data ownership, etc. While comparing the data governance tools got to know about their features where they can be used, how important they are for organizations in general which is showing in the comparing tables as the weightage. In conclusion of the comparison, it can be seen that collibra and informatica axon stands out as best tools with most features available in them. The learnings and conclusion part show the output of the project and the knowledge gained from it. It also shows the insights that I have gained about the data & analytics industries as a whole.
