Abstract: | This report aims to jump-start the study of the Indian securities markets. We will discuss a complete overview of the Indian Securities market under the regulation of SEBI. The report focuses on the understanding and learning from the summer project 2021 under the Growth Arrow and applications which are implied and its leanings. The summer project helped me in learning various Fundamental Analysis, Technical analysis skills, and getting a better understanding of the Indian securities market. The report also covers some of the work completed during the internship, and the entire summer project benefited and aided me much in gaining a deeper knowledge of the same. The learnings: One should be very particular with this understanding in securities market that Investing in Stock Market is a Long-term strategy one should remember that the longer you invest, the quicker your money grows, and the development of more liquid and more highly capitalized equity markets increases economic growth. As we move to the end of this report we find out important observations but three observations, that in particular, stand out are: 1. Look for investible grade attributes – Look for stocks that display investible grade attributes and stay invested in them as long as these attributes last. Book profits when you think the company no longer has these attributes 2. Be realistic - Markets are inherently volatile; it's the nature of the beast. Markets, on the other hand, may reward you quite well provided you have the patience to stay put. CAGR of approximately 15-18%. This, I believe, is a reasonable and realistic expectation. Please do not be misled by extraordinary returns such as 50-100 percent in the near term; even if they are feasible, they may not be sustainable. 3. Continued Learning process – Understanding markets is a lifelong endeavor. Always strive to expand your knowledge and learn new things. |
