Abstract: Working as an Intern in such a reputed brand “Fortune Landmark” which is an ITC member group hotel was a once in a lifetime \experience for me. Being associated with such a group has made my corporate journey a memorable experience. As a finance intern, I was allowed to experience the day-to-day working in one of the finest hotel chains in India. From given an opportunity to learn about the market and best practices prevalent in the finance industry to being given hands-on experience in understanding the financial reporting of the company really added to my learning curve. From working on GST to making working papers for Audit purposes, my industry mentor really guided me to learn the industry and the work. We also did a brief exercise to find out the best Covid related practices being followed by the competitors and compare our company’s practice so that better customer satisfaction can be provided to the consumer of the services by improving made my summer internship project a memorable one. Again these 8 weeks of my internship, I gained experience in the finance domain and improved myself as a Finance professional. As the company followed an open-door policy, even during this testing times of covid and virtual learning gaining insights from other employees from other departments and working as a team made this project an enriching experience.
