dc.description.abstract | For my summer internship, I had the opportunity to work with Growth Arrow. Growth Arrow provides financial services to its clients as well as training to people regarding the financial markets. During my internship tenure, I have done tasks like doing technical and fundamental analysis on various stocks. There were alternate training sessions to understand the basics as well as advance of the equity market using both these approaches. Technical indicators are used to predict the movement of stock using historical data ,technical analysis plays a key role in the short run to help gain the advantage of their skill set and earn returns on their money . Fundamental analysis is a quite detailed analysis of the company , it involves studying various economic indicators such as GDP growth rate , inflation , unemployment , poverty ,etc , the industry relevant to the company needs to be studied in order to know in which phase is the industry operating , have there been government initiatives to increase the productivity of the industry , what is the market size of the industry , what can be the future outlook of the industry, and company analysis is done through their business model, financials , future outlook. Cash flows , Profit and loss , balance sheet, ratio analysis , credibility of the management and various other factors are studied to determine whether the company is good or not for investing . In India, the share market is not that penetrated with only 6.9 crore investors , in India , people are conservative and shares are always found to be risky investment as a reason in India there are less retail investors . | en_US |
