Abstract

A summer internship is an essential element of any management student's MBA experience. It exposes the management trainee to the real world of business. However, due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the global pandemic caused by the spread of COVID-19, the summer internship was completed remotely. Tipsons is a SEBI-registered entity that has established itself as a national financial conglomerate by operating in a variety of financial services areas such as Merchant Banking, Fixed Income Services, Investment Banking, Equity Broking, Commodity Broking, Currency & Interest Rate Derivatives, Wealth Management, and so on. The internship in ‘Wealth B2B’ was with the fixed income department of wealth management. The purpose of the report is to instil three major components: the industry and the company in its context, the projects undertaken and the contribution made to the organisation, and finally, the goal of the Summer Internship Program, which is to learn from the brief but enriching experience at Tip Sons Group.
