Equity Research Analysis

Abstract

The aim of this report is to highlight the activities and duties performed as part of the summer internship programme at Growth Arrow Financial Services. The title of project is "Equity Research Analysis". This project involved managing trading performances, learning and developing about various trading skills & techniques, researching and resolving issues in trading areas, paper trading, working on equity market, etc. These all tasks are covered under two broad terms: a) Technical Analysis: Technical analysis is a trading practice that analyses statistical trends acquired from trading activity, such as price movement and volume, to evaluate investments and uncover trading opportunities. b) Fundamental Analysis: Fundamental analysis is a way of determining the intrinsic value of a securities by looking at linked economic and financial elements. Fundamental analysts look at everything that can influence the value of a security, from macroeconomic issues like the state of the economy and industry circumstances to microeconomic elements like the corporation's management effectiveness. Using various data analytical techniques, the main area of work revolves around learning and understanding technical and fundamental analysis and thereby take part in trading platform and analyse the trading patterns. The report also includes the overall learning as part of Growth Arrow's Summer Internship Program.
