dc.description.abstract | During the first week of the internship, I attended briefing sessions given by my mentor, wherein he provided details about the company, its products, core departments, and how each department works. I even learned about the procedures we need to go through while making new customers and how to help in the betterment of product sales. After every session, I summarised the learnings in the form of notes. I was allotted the work of benchmarking Baja Finance Ltd along with its competition based on schemes, processes, and channels. I was handed over the data of each dealer and sub-dealers throughout the country for analysis. I had to summarise and then analyze my findings of each of the main and sub-dealer in terms of sales and the loan to value provided. I collected details like the interest rates, loan duration, diff down payment options, and various other factors. I was also handed over the task of strategic cooperation where I worked along with the Product Management Group to strategise and come up with ideas toacquire more market segment. Every day I was trying to keep a follow-up with the dealerships to learn and better understand what their expectations were from a financing company. After that, I was handed over the task to identify the bottom 50 dealers and their respective sub-dealers and further analyse their performance through data crunching from the month of February 2021 to June 2021. Later, I had to connect with the Area Sales Managers of the underperforming dealers and understand the problem they are facing in meeting the company defined loan to value target. It was a wonderful experience and I got an opportunity to learn a lot in this internship. | en_US |
