Abstract: The research and analysis of the bond market provides us insights on how the different financial situations affect the market, different companies and their equity listings also bring out various changes in the market and those companies’ specific bond yields. The report gives an idea about the experiences learnt from the Summer Internship done at Tipsons financial services and the analysis of the debt market which includes the corporate bonds and government securities. The Bond Market consists of majorly two components out of which Corporate Bonds were researched and followed through in order to gather information about the trends in the market and possible future predictions. Tipsons financial services has been in the Bonds and Securities market since the last 28 years and the experience gained from the valuable mentors has been incomparable. The practical experience of making One-pager reports by researching a security thoroughly and providing the information in order for easy customer interpretation provides a basic knowledge about the critical values that need to be taken care of before investing in a bond. The knowledge about the bond and its components like the face value, yield to maturity, time to maturity, secured or unsecured help selection of a particular bond. The nature of the bond and the risks involved in those are very crucial part where the ratings given by various agencies are considered, the better the rating from a trusted agency the lesser the chances are that the bond will default. The debt market had various instances in the past which were influenced by external indirect factors that lead to the decline of a company and thus its various debt papers.
