Abstract: The report gives you a glimpse into the scenario of handicapped people in India and the prosthetics industry to set the context for the company’s motives. It comprises of a brief about the company GetBak’s values, its objectives through this internship and the style of work proceedings, under the mentorship of its Marketing Head Mr. Bhargav Korat. In its two years of journey, the company has reached a milestone of 100 equipped kids, all because of its moral values to enrich the lives of deprived communities. The agency gives its interns a holistic opportunity to get a professional experience of various aspects of marketing and develop an all-rounder skill for business development. Weekly briefings, feedback and casual warm-up sessions are conducted all in one meeting with Mr. Korat himself even amidst the pandemic for the interns to feel free and updated. Two months of working with GetBak has given me the opportunity to view marketing up close in a professional world. It is reflected in the report of my learnings as to how inner working of various type of NGO, charitable trust or profitable companies inter-relate in name of social welfare, their marketing and PR strategies etc. Although content strategy and brand awareness were the primary motive of my work profile. My mentor had also provided me with a sense of freedom in terms of playing around with the social media pages and deducing insights for uplifting its presence.
