Abstract: This report is a summation of my internship at EY, previously known as Ernst & Young, which is a consultancy firm working globally. I interned at EY from 3rd May 2021 to 30th June 2021. As a management trainee, I was part of the Supply Chain and operation department. Since, the turnaround time for the projects is short I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects which can broadly be divided into 2 buckets namely data analytics / analysis and Strategy. My primary objective was to develop strategies for client of Holcim Group unit Ambuja Cement Ltd. My approach involved the following task: • Identifying what the client aims to achieve • Identifying the client’s current positioning in terms of performance and efficiency, • Proposals to execute aligning with the client’s objective • Working on Interactive dashboards using advance Excel and Python I got an opportunity to be a part and witness 15 client meetings with project heads and all unit/department heads. Learning Python for management database handling and analysis was a paramount skill development.
