Abstract: Summer Internship Programme is the part of the curriculum of the MBA - HRM programme and includes 8 weeks of field immersion training and corporate exposure. The programme aims to make the students industry ready, help them develop corporate code of conduct, enable them to implement theoretical knowledge in the context of organisational settings and help them achieve professional skills as well as personal growth. As a part of the same, I got an opportunity to work with Intas Pharmaceuticals, under their iLearn initiative. Intas Pharmaceuticals is one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in the country. It is globally known as the Accord Healthcare and situated in 85+ countries. In the Summer Internship Programme, I was placed at the Bio-Pharma division of Intas Pharmaceuticals and worked on three projects: 1) Talent Acquisition 2) Designing Competency based Behavioral Interviews 3) On-Boarding Audit Project The report includes a background of the Pharma Industry in India, followed by an Overview of Intas Pharmaceuticals and the Bio-Pharma division. The next section describes the project work and last section of the report describes my learnings and insights from the Summer Internship Programme.
