Abstract: | This report is prepared for the purpose of providing insights about the Hospitality industry in India, task assigned by the company and learning from the work done during the internship. The company, Fortune Landmark- Member of ITC’s hotels group, is a well-established and renowned company providing a variety of accommodation options to travellers around the country and to those visiting India. In Fortune Landmark, working is done on departmental basis. Allocation of task, status regarding work everything is to be taken care by HOD i.e. Head of Department. It is responsibility of each HOD to be aware about working in their department and to update regarding raw materials or any requirement to the HR department on regular basis. While working in this company as HR Generalist I gained valuable insights and hands on experience in statutory compliance and core functioning in Human Resource Department. I also gained insights on working and role of Training and development department in an organization. Duration of this internship was of 2 months, during this period I learnt how practically things work in corporate world, and lot of hard work is associated at backend to make run organization successfully. |
