Abstract

For my Summer Internship, I was placed with Bajaj Finance Limited-AF, Pune. The company was established in 1987 and is a part of the Bajaj Group. It is a NBFC which specialises in financing Auto loans for commercial vehicles like Auto-rickshaws and Two wheelers like Bajaj bikes and bikes of other companies. The HR department is located at the Head office at Akurdi Pune and is responsible for all the major HR activities. This report will describe the project assigned to me in this department. Through this report, I have explained all the work that I did, what I learned in my Summer Internship and what are my major takeaways. The report is divided into three sections. Part A, which is the first section is an introduction to the company. A detailed description of the Bajaj Finance Limited-AF is provided along with the products and services it offers. The business sector, of which BFL-AF is a part, is also analysed. In the next section, Part B, the project is described and all the activities that were carried out during the internship are shared. All the issues and genuine feedback for the same are added in this section. In Part C, the last section of the report has the Learning from the internship and the major takeaways for the way ahead. Any detail about the company that is shared in the report is purely a personal experience and might vary from person to person. Some details about the company have been omitted due to company security concerns.
