dc.description.abstractFinding the best candidates has never been as tough as it is today. Unemployment is low, baby boomers are retiring, milliners are freelancing away and generation Z has just started to enter the workforce. And hence, it’s very important to recruit the right kind of candidates and also keep them motivated by providing them with rewards and by conducting employee engagement activities, which will also help the organization to retain their employees for a long time. This internship was carried out at WorkIndia. The main objective of this project is to understand the recruitment process carried out and the employment activities are undertaken along with the reward system to motivate its employees. The Initial weeks were spent learning about the company about its vision, mission, strengths, achievements, and services offered to its customers as well as learned about the working culture of the organization. After gathering information and understanding the organization, various sources and types of recruitment were learned. During this period, I helped the company to conduct a few employee engagement activities to keep the employees motivated and work well. It helped me to learn how effective employee engagement activity is along with the reward system to motivate the employee in the organization. I also learned about the responsibilities of the HR department. I got an opportunity to take interviews of the new interns and manage them as the group leader. I also understood what were the changes that were taken in the HR department and also what innovations need to be done in the field of HR. The research project was focused on the Recruitment of Zomato and Swiggy Delivery Executives, Incentives given to them, whether it affects the employee motivation and whether the organization follows their reward system. It was done with the professionals of different industries across India.en_US
