Abstract: Doing the internship at People North, HR division has been an enriching at both the personal and academic level. The project revolves around the Talent Acquisition department of the organization. During my internship I gained practical knowledge on how the human resource division of an organization as big as People North operates and coordinates its activities to ensure smooth functioning of the organization at all levels by ensuring right number of people are available at the right time to do the right job. I have also gained insight into the working culture of the organization and observed how People North handles its employees with value and empowerment to ensure they are motivated to give their best to the organization. The report starts with a sectoral introduction and followed by an organization profile of People North giving its background, mission, vision, its products and services, the hierarchy and organogram of the organization. Following that the next section contains information about the tasks and responsibilities during my internship period at the firm. The next section comprises the progress of the project taken under Talent Acquisition in People North. The project encompasses Sourcing and screening of candidates for different positions on a day-to-day basis for different client partners associated with People North and maintain candidate relationship and communication after selection and shortlisting of the candidate for the particular position. It is followed by the overall contribution to the organization, learnings taken from these tasks. At last, I have mentioned the feedback for and from the organization with a concluding note at last.
