Competition Analysis of Job Portal and Taking Customer Feedback for Timesjobs

Abstract

This is an attempt to know how the theories that we study in the classrooms can be applied to practical situation. As a student of MBA, it is a part of study for everyone to undergo summer project at some good organization. So for this purpose, I got the opportunity of summer training at Times Internet. For two months from 1st May 2021 till 30 June 2021, I did an internship at Times Internet, a digital products company which operates, owns and invests in various Internet-led products technology and services. The company builds premium digital products that enhance and simplifies the everyday lives of people. This internship project is a part of my 2- year master program which I conduct at Institute of Management, Nirma university. I worked on an assignment project to investigate and understand the impact of Covid-19 on different Job portals. The main content of the project is to have a transparent communication with different organizations to know the impact of covid-19 on their hiring efforts and to know what techniques the companies are using to retain their valuable resources during this time of pandemic. This topic suits my major in Human Resource Management and also brought me to understand the new trends in HR due to the pandemic. Through the project, I did not only gain a lot of knowledge but I also had a great chance to sharpen my professional skills. It also helped me in learning the skills of communication and negotiation while having conversations with the potential organizations.
