dc.description.abstractA Study of Timesjobs.com and its Utility To understand the patterns of recruitments in big ventures in the Western India Region Under this project, firstly it was important to know the recruitment patterns adopted by corporates in the Western India region. Today, looking at the market scenario, there are huge amount of recruitments done in the organizations, for the same HR department of the company needs to do an intrinsic study among who to recruit in the organization. Hence for this, they usually hire job portals, like timesjobs.com etc. to reach out to the perfect candidate. In the 8 weeks of my internship with Times Jobs, my primary responsibility was to approach the HR heads or recruiting managers of different corporates. This was done primarily by making cold calls, or through mailing and fixing a proper appointment. The method to look for the prospects was through LinkedIn search and other jobs portals where the corporates had placed their openings. Once the client had been briefed about Times Jobs, I was required to gather their interests and conduct a demo session for different offerings provided by Times Jobs. This also included taking the note of below mentioned aspects: ➢ Duration of the vacancy (3 months , 6 months , yearly) ➢ Title for the vacancy (Job Designation) ➢ Skills required for the Job. ➢ Company’s entire information. ➢ Order sheet signed by the HR and head of the organization. ➢ Activation of the client’s login credentialsen_US
