Abstract

The report is the interim report about the project and task I have been allotted during my summer internship program at Traverse. The job profile that I am being enrolled by this company is Intern – Marketing and Business Development. The project is based at three levels. The first is based on research and lead generation. The second stage would include generation of target customer person. The third would be creating marketing collaterals to reach out to customers. The task proposed by the company is to make the database of the target audience. The target audience comprises of the academicians in various universities across India and also in the countries like Malaysia, Thailand, USA, London, Canada, and Singapore. The universities in the countries will help us gain the database for the company. We will add the university name, academician’s name, e-mail id, LinkedIn, and contact information. These all will be added in the database. Another task assigned to me is to make a database of the corporate customers. These databases will help the company to strategize the marketing strategy. These all tasks are given by the company to complete in a month’s internship. The report consists of the nature of the problem that prevails with the company and the gap in the information that causes the problem. It also consists of objective and utility of the study done for research purposes. Further the report consists of the methodology consisting of approach, source of data, data collection method, size of sample and method sampling, and method of data sampling. These methodology helps me to understand and simplify the complexity of the database. The context of problems elaborates the effects of the solution that are carried out to solve some issues of the industry. The data will be presented in the graphical and tabular form to keep the analysis part as simple as possible. So, all these will be reported under this report.
