Abstract: Assessing stock price changes would be of interest to a stock market investor. The stock market's prices vary due to the market's constant buying and selling. When it comes to analysing share price changes, there are basically two methods. There are two types of approaches: fundamental and technical. Both approaches have the same goal of obtaining a strong return on investment by purchasing at a lower price and selling at a higher price. It is possible to say that the final objective of these two strategies is the same. The underlying concepts of these two methods, on the other hand, are vastly different. The underlying factors would be of interest to the analyst in fundamental analysis. He'd like to know how to calculate a stock's true worth or intrinsic value based on its current and future earnings potential. When the stock's market price falls below its intrinsic worth, they will buy it. The word "technical analysis" refers to a wide range of trading strategies. The study of historical prices and a few other associated summary facts regarding securities trading is used in technical analysis to estimate future prices. The direction of price fluctuations is always a concern for a technical analyst. The purpose of this research is to assess technical analysis from an Indian perspective and determine its utility in the Indian stock market.
