Abstract: | In today’s modern world everything become smaller and smaller in size, also performance and power delivery of the product is increasing to meet the user’s need. To achieve all this Universal Serial Bus (USB) comes into picture that plays an important role in any embedded products. Today’s USB achieve a speed of 40Gbps along with other features, this all become possible with the help of USB Type-C connector that represents a new paradigm which is turning the interface technology market on its head. The Type-C connector is the one stop for all the previous version of the USB generation along with the display protocol, power delivery protocol. Now days automation plays an important role in the validation of any product. In this project, a similar effort has been made to validate the above features of USB4 via automation which can save a lot of human efforts. The current mode to validate these features is manually. Here, I have tried to perform such tasks via automation by writing scripts in Intel’s proprietary Tool meant for validating the type-C features. The results are mentioned in result section which are describing using various test cases. |
