Abstract: | Cryogenics is a study of science which deals with the behaviour of extreme low temperatures. A storage tank for a cryogenic liquid having a low boiling temperature, which increase liquid storage capacity by enhancing adiabatic efficiency and, more specifically, to a dual structure of an inner vessel and an outer vessel, in which a vacuum is applied to the space between the inner and outer vessel, and a heat insulating material is provided on the outer surface of the outer vessel. Design an efficient support system to reduce net evaporation rate and reduce weight of the system to achieve maximum net capacity with minimum gross weight of the vessel. The procedure conforms to ASME SECTION 8, DIVISION-1 and DIVISION-2 & MENDATORY APPRENDIX 44. The procedure for designing oxygen cold convertor to the required specifications has been studied and modified to create a perfect storage cryogenic vessel. |
