Abstract: The objective of this research is to design a system that could be used to predict the blood pressure from continuous measurements of PPG sensors. The design aims to be generalized in its approach so that it can be emulated by anyone working in this field and can be improved upon. The design itself serves as a starting out guide for people trying to approach the problem of Non Invasive Blood Pressure Monitoring. The design presented in this research describes two aspects of developing such a system. One is the data processing pipeline and the other is the prediction part. The research describes standard DSP techniques for handling the signal data and Pulse Wave Analysis based approach for predicting blood pressure values from the input signal. We also describe in detail the entire data pre-processing pipeline and the model training and design.
