Rapid advancements in automated data gathering methods have resulted in a flood of health-care-related data being stored in scattered, heterogeneous, and enormous databases. Healthcare is one of the first sectors to use IOT- Internet of Things and ML- Machine Learning to extend average life expectancies and reduce mortality rate. Since then, significant progress has been made in terms of achieving real time concrete results and reducing latency. This study aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of fog computing and the SDN- software defined networking framework for massive data processing in the healthcare industry. Both of these emerging technologies have a lot of potential in this particular healthcare field.en_US
