Jewellery inventory and management is extremely time consuming as well as tedious job yet very important to do on the daily, monthly and yearly bases. Most of the jew- ellers are still using manual method for the stock calculation else some of them are using barcode system for the inventory. The jewellery inventory is extremely precise task which needs continuous human involvement which can cause a great amount of human error. Human error can be avoided by investing more time and energy in the stock inventory. This proposed system proposes jewellery inventory and management system using RFID system to replace the current method of stock taking. The RFID based jewellery inven- tory is based around tracking the complete stock of the showroom in lesser time compared to any other technique and also remotely calculating the stock. This system provides a convenient method in jewellery stock taking by providing an RFID reader to uniquely identify the jewels carrying RFID tag and record the data. This report proposes a hard- ware containing ARM controller interfaced with the HF range RFID reader and a display and together it makes a dependable jewellery inventory system.en_US
