dc.description.abstract | Steam Turbine Protection System and Governing system are designed with today’s technology to operate the system in safe and reliable manner. The protection system operates only when any of the control system set point parameters are exceeded, and the steam turbine will be damaged if it continues to operate. The system is developed for effectiveness of the speed control of steam turbine and its protection from undesired condition. In this project protection and speed control of steam turbine has been done SIMATIC S7 PLC Programming along with monitoring SCADA System by using WINCC software. By providing turbine speed control and effective protection system, the system response has been improved and also it is good from safety point of view and Steam Turbine Model has been develop using MATLAB software. | en_US |
