O ALTIMETER is used for measurement of altitude above the ground level.DSP module is used to extract two-way propagation delay and Doppler shift from the received echo signal and thereby enable precise altitude and platform velocity measurement. The assigned project task requires pre-requisite thorough, in-depth knowledge and experience for serial communication between ON BOARD COMPUTER and RADIO ALTIMETER is done by UART via RS-422 Protocol and MIL STD-1553 Protocol. UART includes three main modules such as Transmitter, Baud Rate Generation and Receiver. UART design with VHDL code is implemented to achieve reliable, compact and stable data transmission. In simulation results UART will check the receive data with error free and Baud rate generation with different frequency, Baud rate should be same at the transmitter as well as at the receiver side.MIL STD-1553 runs on a single twisted pair of cables and it has a dual-redundant architecture with extremely low error rate. Only a single computer is allowed to transmit on the bus at a given time. Bus Controller is the Master which controls multiple slave computers are called as RT’s. There also be one or more passive Bus Monitor (BM) which is used to monitor or record the message on the bus but not able to transmit any messages. Functional test procedure for performance checks during non-mil screening, ESS, EMI/EMC, pre-QT, during QT and Post-QT are explicitly defined. All standard equipment use for qualification test is calibrated.en_US
