dc.description.abstractPlasma science includes basic plasma physics, magnetically confined hot plasma and plasma technologies for industrial research application. SST { 1 thomson scattering is one of the major diagnostic for the measurement of plasma temperature and density. The previous data acquisition system used a serial based CAMAC controller for digiti- zation of the analog signal. In this Project, we are working on embedded based Picomotor control from New Focus (model 8752), which is controlling the hardware mechanism of our optical mirror system through them laser light is traveling to the plasma chamber. In the plasma chamber the point of laser incidence have to be stable for betterment of the measurement from Thomson scattering process. For Deviation detection, we are us- ing image acquisition by CCD camera and image processing is held within LabVIEW software. We choose method of communication (TCP/IP) on static Ethernet network is easily adaptable by industries. This developed system gives high accurate and stable focus point for any laser. It reduces the hardware vibration uncertainty which cant be control easily. It is applicable to actual plants and also able to perform at harsh conditions.en_US
