Abstract: The task of analysis and design of non-linear control system is more complex than linear control system.There is no universal method of analysis and design available for nonlinear control system. If control system consists of discrete nonlinearity like backlash, deadzone, ideal relay etc., then graphical methods like PPT (phase plane trajectory), Describing Function, etc., are useful.If the nonlinearity is continuous type than linearization at its operating point and then treat system as linear system is accepted approach.All above methods are highly complex, time consuming .It is also difficult for student, teacher and practitioner to carry analysis and design. An interactive LabVIEW based GUI tool-‘nonlintool’ is proposed to serve easy and effective way to carry analysis and design nonlinear control system. The ‘nonlintool’ is developed on LabVIEW platform. It will be make platform free by converting into .exe.The tool offers user friendly computational platform for all types of non-linearity. This tool reduce the computational burden. Major advantage of this tool is,it can be used without having LabVIEW at user end.
