dc.description.abstract | ADITYA Thomson Scattering Diagnostic is used for the measurement of plasma temperature and density. The diagnostics require fast detectors and Data acquisition system. The existing DAQ system use a serial based CAMAC controller for digitization of the analog signal. A CVI (C for Virtual instrumentation) based program was in uses for the DAQ. In DAQ Analog signal and digital signal both are different communication protocol. The available analog signal is also acquired using digital oscilloscope for the reference signal measurement. For the faster detectors, control and DAQ The System will be updated with GPIB based CAMAC Controller. A more user friendly and versatile program for Control and DAQ is being developed using NI LabVIEW Environment. The CAMAC Controller is Controlled and operated at remote location using fiber optical communication. | en_US |
