dc.description.abstract | Ion Cyclotrone Resonance Heating (ICRH) is the most successful auxiliary heating schemes tokamak plasmas at present. There is a series of power supplies 2 KW, 20 KW, 200 KW and 1.5 MW. Sequentially increasing Power to 1.5 MW. After reaching to 1.5 MW RF Shot is given. RF Shot is heating duration of Plasma Particle present in Tokamak SST-1 or Aditya.The Project work focuses on Designing complete application for data acquisition and control of ICRH Power supplies and gathering online status, their parameter values like Power level, Voltage level, Current level etc from the online system. Plotting different parameter’s variation online from the system to graph. And Store parameter values for future analysis.Different interlock signals which are some highly sensitive signals which when running out of limit system can be damaged. Some diagnostic signals which are required to be acquired at high speed at 1 Ms/S. After acquisition of signals processes acquired data and control the system parameters like on and off different Power Supplies and to set desired Voltage Values. The proposed problem requires complete hardware system controlled by Software Application interface (API) to achieve user define goals. The API will be completely developed in LabVIEW environment and control algorithm is developed in PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation Express(PXIe) Real time Controller.According to application requirement hardware Purchased from National Instruments PXIe Chassis ,PXIe Controller, Data Acquisition Modules (AI, AO, DI, DO), FPGA modules, SCBs are selected and Complete system are made available on Project sight. As User can analysis all channel data after taking RF shot. This designed application will allow user to completely operate ICRH experiment by sitting in front of Computer. | en_US |
