Abstract: Combustion control is a complex multiloop control strategy. It is used in many in- dustries for various applications.Particularly in metal industry where fuel is the main raw material/cost e cient as well as combustion control is very much required. In this project we have evaluated various control strategy and implemented novel idea. As a part of evaluation process we evaluated P, PI, PID and Fuzzy. Fuzzy is faster in the transient response and minimize overshoot but poor steady state response. To improve Fuzzy in steady state we have proposed the Fuzzy+PI control strategy and implemented on LabVIEW. For e cient combustion control we implemented Lead Lag control strategy on Lab- VIEW. Than to have advantage of PI, Fuzzy and Lead Lag control strategy we implemented di erent control strategy like Lead Lag with Fuzzy and Fuzzy+PI. For multiloop controller we take case study of Pusher type reheat furnace. For the Simulation purpose we using a sample model with the considerations of Pusher type reheat furnace. After the good simulation results of Lead Lag,Fuzzy and Fuzzy+PI.We implemented on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) for high speed real time response.
