dc.description.abstractIn textile industries fabric material produced is in a big tubular form. This fabric material is required to be cut from its seam for further use and avoid material wastage. So seam in the material is necessary to be identified. To obtain maximum efficiency automatic detection of seam is must. Now in order to design automation for accurate seam cutting, Machine Vision can be employed. But due to space constraints, there is need of embedded vision for this application. In this proposed system we will use embedded vision based system for identifying and tracking the seam in the fabric material. Here we will develop an android application based on image processing which will use the phone camera to acquire image/video of fabric material in real time, processed the image/video and identify the seam and continuously track it. This tracked data will transfer to the controller using Bluetooth. Controller will control the position of cutter using motor according to tracked data and material will be cut.en_US
