The replacement of the physical connection between a data acquisition system and the data processing unit with wireless connection makes system flexible and robust, especially when this system is located in an industrial environment. This paper analyzes the possibility to build a compact-sized, low-cost wireless data acquisition system with improved power saving capabilities and fuzzy control for pump control. The aimed computational platform is the PIC microcontroller while the chosen wireless communication standard is Bluetooth [IEEE 802.15.1]. Data acquisition, storage, display and communication are implemented using microcontroller architecture. Microcontroller has integrated Analog to Digital converter, Graphics controller, RAM, ROM and other modules. Touchscreen HMI , non-volatile FLASH chip and external SRAM are attatched externally. The system is also equipped with RS-232 for easy data transfer to PC. The system will use Fuzzy control algorithm for controlling Flexible Impeller Pump [FIP].en_US
