Abstract: Chewable toothpaste is a novel and cutting-edge toothpaste formulation in the area of oral hygiene. This thesis provides a theoretical review, an introduction, details on the mechanism of action, and potential difference of chewable toothpaste & Traditional toothpaste. Also covered are the various oral diseases and the drugs used to treat them. The thesis also discusses chewable toothpaste's advantages and disadvantages, which are important factors in determining whether or not consumers will embrace the product. Different excipients and production techniques are investigated in the formulation and evaluation of chewable toothpaste using examples of commercially available formulation in order to obtain the necessary qualities. The thesis includes a review of chewable toothpaste products now available on the market as well as forecasts for this rapidly expanding area of oral care in the future. The formulation and delivery of chewable toothpaste need to be improved, which will ultimately improve consumer oral health as its use becomes more widespread.
