This thesis examines the use of microemulsion in the treatment of cancer, emphasising its potential as a method of anticancer medication delivery. The special qualities of microemulsions, which are colloidal dispersions of oil and water stabilised by surfactants, make them desirable for drug administration. The several kinds of microemulsions, their components, and the ways they improve drug delivery to cancer cells are covered in the article. The use of targeted microemulsions to specifically deliver medications to cancer cells is also mentioned in the thesis. Due to its distinctive physicochemical characteristics, such as their small droplet size, large surface area, and thermodynamic stability, microemulsions have attracted substantial attention in the realm of cancer therapy. These characteristics make them perfect for delivering anticancer drugs to tumour cells with precision while minimising harm to normal organs. The article also discusses the ways that microemulsions improve medication solubility, bioavailability, and cellular uptake in order to improve drug delivery to cancer cells. Combination therapy, in which numerous medications are administered simultaneously to increase treatment success, is another promising application of microemulsions. This strategy has demonstrated encouraging outcomes in preclinical research and may mark a significant development in the treatment of cancer. Using microemulsions to treat cancer is a promising method. They are an important tool in the battle against cancer because of their special qualities and capacity to deliver medications to cancer cells. Microemulsion-based therapeutics may be a crucial part of the treatment of cancer with more study and development.en_US
