Both Bluetooth and the IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks, generally referred to as Wi-Fi, have emerged as the most popular wireless network technology. Mobile gadgets including computers, smartphones, PDAs, and cellphones are increasingly incorporating both technologies. There is a chance of interference between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as both the technologies uses the unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM band. As, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios are integrated into mobile devices, interference problems are more severe and require the use of unique strategies to resolve. A BT/WLAN coexistence solution developed by few Industries which is currently being included into a number of commercial products. So, The purpose of this Project is to discuss about the issues that can occur when Bluetooth and 802.11 WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) interfere with each other, particularly when both wireless technologies are present in the same device. We will also explore a solution for this problem. Additionally, we will analyze the performance of both Bluetooth and WLAN when they are utilizing the coexistence solution and compare it to their performance when they are not using any coexistence methods, meaning they are tested individually without the presence of the other technology.en_US
