This research thesis sets out on a fascinating journey to reimagine the architectural and visual experience at Gandhi Ashram using video game concept. The research aims to build fascinating and evolving surroundings that exceed visitors’ expectations, giving them with a one-of-a-kind and engaging experience. To accomplish this, the study examines how lighting, scale, narrative, materials, architectural style and visual style are effectively used to construct virtual environments in an individual video game. The investigation of these aspects provides useful information that may be applied to architectural design. In addition to video game analysis, the study looks into existing literature to explore the evolving connection between architecture and video games. This investigation seeks to gather more ideas and concepts that can be utilized to guide the design approach. The study at Gandhi Ashram challenges the boundaries of developed design processes and creates new methods by understanding the relationship between both of these fields. The main objective of the project is to merge video game aspects into immersive architecture spaces. It intends to improve the architectural experience at Gandhi Ashram by exploring the use of lighting to create different moods and atmospheres, the manipulation of materials to provide new spatial experiences, and the adoption of visual styles that generate emotions and connections and same goes with narrative. The incorporation of these findings into the design aims to provide people with greater insight to the historical significance of the place. It aims to go beyond standard architectural design by incorporating video game components, providing an innovative perspective on building dynamic and interactive places. Architects can expand the boundaries of what is possible by adopting the creativity and innovation inherent in video games, providing people with an engaging experience that leaves a lasting impression. Finally, thesis concludes a fascinating research into incorporating video game components into architectural design at Gandhi Ashram. The research aims to create immersive and transformative designs that inspire, engage, and connect people with the cultural heritage of the site by drawing inspiration from lighting, narrative, materials, and visual style in video games, as well as by exploring the evolving relationship between architecture and video games.en_US
